Walking around the old town of Avila after dark at night around Christmas you will notice the large square in front of the main gate to the old town.

On this square there is a small carnival going on with an ice-skating ring and a few rides for the younger kids. But the most interesting thing here is yet again the wall.

There is a show going on – on the wall itself. When the show isn’t running they even put the schedule on the wall so you can see when the next show is coming.

It is some sort of Christmas light show telling some sort of story. It is all in Spanish so I don’t get all what is going on. But you can kind of get some it given there is a fat Santa and some reindeers being displayed during the lightshow.

The light show maybe takes around ten minutes and then the wall reverts back into it usual form without the light show.
