Posted by Hamburg is an old harbor town and the harbor of the city is one of the most important harbors in Europe when it comes to volume of import and export. The harbor is partly industrial but it has also got a nice development of the waterfront where large parts has been transformed into recreational areas where the locals can go for a restaurant or a bar to enjoy the water view.
Most of the water front is now restaurants on one side and the other is still the industrial harbor. There are a few points of interest as well along the water front including a U-boat museum where you can go and see an old U-boat though we didn’t actually jump onboard the boat.
A part of the harbor is a large pier from where a lot of harbor tours depart and on the top of the pier they have made a series of restaurants where you can sit and enjoy the view.
