The small island of Orø doesn’t have very high hills. The highest point is just a bit over 20 meters and is found just next to one of the main cultural attractions on the island – Kulturbeholderen or the cultural container.
Despite the limited height you still got a good view of the island so many visitors go to this spot to enjoy a complete view of the small island.
When the queen and her husband visited the island they went to this spot as well. This made the locals proud and they got a picture of the queen sitting on a stone on the top of the hill. This stone has been made into kind of a local memorial of the visit by the queen.
