On a little road about 27 kilometers north of Krakow you find a little national park with some karst landscape. The landscape has some interesting looking cliffs. The most interesting of these cliffs looks a bit like a giant club.

The huge club looking cliff has got the name Maczuga Herkulesa which means Hercules Cudgel or club. The cliff is located right beneath a little castle called Pieskowa Skala.

You can go and visit the castle if you like – we didn’t – but it was still good to go here and have a little look at Hercules club and the castle above the cliff since it was almost on our way.
