This brand new restaurant which recently just open together with the Alsik hotel in May 2019 offer a very good gastronomy food even for the extremely picky person. I personally would recommend this place as the food was really delicious at very reasonable price compare with Copenhagen restaurants at this caliber. We choose 5 courses dinner including 5 glasses of wine for the cost of DKK 950 (€127) per person.

The restaurant is quite small but cosy with view toward the water. The table place in a good distant from another table so we can enjoy ourselves. The staff was good and attentive and quick with the order. There were only 2 menus to choose from: 3 courses menu or 5 courses menu so it is definitely quick decision what to have for dinner.

After we order our food, we received our drinks and a warm bread arrived. The bread was yummy and I enjoy it since I was so hungry by that time. The staff keep refill the bread when they see the bread basket empty, which much appreciated.

The first dish of fish soup with caviar and greenery was exquisite. I really enjoyed myself and definitely looking forward to the next dish.
Next we got cauliflower with honey, fermented mustard seeds, salted almonds and ramson capers. It looks simple and the taste was delightful.

Then we got pork with pumpkin puree, and onion. Gosh, the meat was soo tender and heavenly. I really love the presentation and the aroma of it… pure appetizing.

Finally we come to the dessert of very traditional Danish rug broad and liquorice and ice cream. I actually do not try this as I do not like liquorice. Mickey said it was delicious. Instead I had 6 different type of cheese with crackers, fermented gran and some sort of jam. I mention that I love young cheese aged 30-45 days and it was luscious and the selection was fantastic.

Lastly we had Fresh berries of the season with almond crumble, and berries ice cream. The presentation was beautiful to the eyes, calming the soul and leave a very good sensation to the whole body.

We completely happy and delight at this place and we can put the bill to the hotel room since we also staying at the hotel.

The third photo from the bottom – is that crackers to go with the cheese? Looks like this place serves modern gourmet food 🙂
