When in the small village there isn’t much to do. So we observe how the locals produce paper and silk which is much more primitive than what we are used to.

The small creatures hide during the day but come out at night. So just after dark we head out to spot mouse lemur and chameleons.

Searching for the golden bamboo lemur
One of the few places in the world you can find the greater bamboo lemur and the golden bamboo lemur is this little national park in the southern part of madagascar.
It is a bit quite on Independence Day
We drive out of the capital and drive along the road heading south seeing the landscape and the local traffic.
