Posted by The old town of Torun is located at the large polish River the Vistula. The location ensures you can find some great river views from the town – but there is also an option to see the city from the river.
We decide to head out to the river and cruise along the city for an hour. The boat pretty much sails between two different bridges crossing the Vistula all along the main part of the old town of Torun. There is a great view of the river and the old town.
During the hour cruise there is a recording telling something – probably the story of Torun – but it is in Polish only so I really have no idea what the story is about. Unfortunately it is a bit dark and raining during the cruising but we do have a decent look of the town though it looks a bit bleak due to the weather.
