One of the best places in Madagascar to spot nocturnal lemurs is in the Kirindy forest. So if you are here do go for a walk after dark and you might see 3-5 species of lemurs.

Meeting the villains from Madagascar
Most people have only seen the fossa in the animation movie Madagascar. Even if you go to Madagascar it is really hard to find it in the wild. One of the few places to find it is in the little forest of Kirindy where we were lucky to spot two.
How do you open the door when you are driving inside a car?
We are driving through the back country and suddenly the road is blocked by a fallen tree. There is no way around the tree and it is too heavy to move. What to do?

Taking a short cut from the south to the west part of Madagascar is possible. But it will take you into the rarely travelled backcountry going through the nothingness of the country.
