Stopping at the stairway waterfall

We drive along the scenic Vildmarksvägen and along the road there are several big and small attractions. One of them which we actually see when we drive right by. We spot a big waterfall from the road and decide to drive off at the parking lot right next to the waterfall to get a closer look.

The waterfall is called Trappstegsforsen which translates into something like stairway waterfall. And when we look at the waterfall it is easy to see how it got the name. The waterfall has a series of small drops close to each other which kind of look like a giant stairway.

There aren’t a lot of people around and the only shop at the area is closes so we can enjoy the view of the waterfall in the afternoon without being disturbed by other people.
